RLS3 Protocol E-book
A three-part nightly protocol for restless legs.
Built around the one thing clinical guidelines actually say about restless legs: look at your iron first. Includes The RLS3 Protocol guide, sent by email the day you order.
View Supplement FactsIf your legs are fine all day and start the moment you lie down.
Not for you if your ferritin is already above 75 — iron is unlikely to help and we'd rather say so. Pregnant, nursing, on a dopamine agonist, or told you have high iron? Ask your doctor first.
Ask your doctor for a ferritin test before you start. At or below 75 µg/L, guidelines say iron is worth trying.
Give it 8 to 12 weeks. The gel works the first night, but raising ferritin is slow — that's the honest window.

Step 01 - Iron
Iron, as ferric saccharate
19 mg per strip, alongside folate. Ferric saccharate is a gentler form than ferrous sulfate, and iron - not magnesium - is what the clinical guidelines point at when ferritin is low.

Step 01 - Folate
Folate (vitamin B9)
400 mcg DFE per strip. Named in the same stack neurologists prescribe alongside iron, and involved in normal red blood cell formation.

Step 02 - Magnesium
Magnesium glycinate
275 mg of elemental magnesium from 2,500 mg of magnesium glycinate. The glycinate form is chosen for absorption and for being easier on the stomach than oxide.

Step 03 - Menthol
Menthol
A genuine cold-receptor (TRPM8) agonist - this is what makes the gel feel cold within seconds. It is the only part of the protocol you feel on the first night.

Step 03 - Arnica
Arnica montana
Organic flower extract, used topically for generations on tired, aching legs. Sits in a base of witch hazel, aloe leaf juice and tocopherol.

Step 03 - Botanicals
Peppermint, eucalyptus, camphor
Six essential oils in total - peppermint, spearmint, eucalyptus, pine, lemongrass and camphor - carry the cooling past the first few minutes.

The guidelines your neurologist follows already name a number. Here is what they actually say.
What the guideline actually says
75
ng/mL or below - the ferritin level at which clinical guidelines recommend oral iron
8-12
weeks before a ferritin level meaningfully moves. This is not an overnight protocol.
Why it usually gets missed
7-10%
of adults live with restless legs - and a standard blood panel checks haemoglobin, not ferritin
The ferritin threshold and the 8-12 week re-check interval are from the AASM 2024 clinical practice guideline and the Mayo Clinic RLS management algorithm; prevalence is the standard 7-10% adult range. These are facts about the condition and the guidelines, not claims about this product, which has not itself been studied. Iron helps only if your ferritin is low - ask your doctor for the number.

Because they do three different jobs.
Iron is aimed at what restless legs guidelines actually point to first. Magnesium is for staying asleep. The gel is the only part you feel on the first night. Take any one on its own and you leave a gap the other two were covering.
Because you were taking magnesium on its own — and probably not this kind.
Most "I tried magnesium" means magnesium oxide off a supermarket shelf, which absorbs poorly. Ours is glycinate, the form chosen for absorption and for not upsetting your stomach. But the bigger issue is that magnesium alone only settles the muscle. It does nothing about the iron your brain uses to make dopamine, which is what guidelines say to check first — so it was always doing a third of the job. RLS3 is the three together.
Probably not.
"Normal" on a lab report usually means you are not anaemic. Restless legs guidelines use a different bar: at or below 75 ug/L of ferritin, oral iron is worth trying. Plenty of people sit between 30 and 75, get told they are fine, and never hear that number.
The gel on the first night. The magnesium within a week or two. The iron in eight to twelve weeks.
That last one is not us hedging. It is the window guidelines use before re-testing ferritin, because raising iron stores is genuinely slow. Judge this at day seven and you are judging a third of it.
Honestly, we do not know — and nobody selling you something for restless legs does.
Iron helps people whose ferritin is low. If yours is already above 75 it probably will not do much, and we would rather you knew that before ordering than after. Ask your doctor for a ferritin test. It is a standard blood draw and it is the single most useful number you can have.
Not usually.
Iron's reputation for nausea and constipation comes from 65 mg tablets — roughly one in five people give up on those. These strips are 19 mg and dissolve on the tongue, so it is a far gentler dose. Keep them an hour clear of coffee, tea and dairy, which all block absorption.
Ask your doctor first, and we mean that.
Iron affects the timing of levothyroxine, some antibiotics and some Parkinson's and restless legs medications. If you take a dopamine agonist such as ropinirole or pramipexole, or you have been told you have haemochromatosis or high iron, speak to them before you start.

4.5
Works. Be patient, give it at least a month.
Three weeks before anything happened, then four hours straight. Week eight it was six. I couldn't believe it, RSL had made me have dark thoughts, and I don't have them anymore. I actually owe this company so much I don't even know where to start. 5 stars for sure.
